In Less Than 1 1/2 Hours, You Will Have Speed Techniques for Making This Quick and Easy Flannel Baby Quilt
Maybe you didn't know that your friend's granddaughter was going to have a baby. Or possibly you knew, but didn't have time before, and now there's a Baby Shower coming up. You want to make a baby quilt for her, and need it quick. Or, maybe you are a beginning quilter and want to learn how to make a quilt starting with an easy pattern so you can get your feet wet and learn the basics of quilting. Whatever the reason, you've found the right spot to learn. When quilters asked to learn how to make a quick and easy baby quilt, I pondered what that might look like. Then I remembered my favorite baby quilt when quilting daughter, Stephanie, was a baby. It was a simple flannel quilt given to me by one of my mom's friends. I loved that quilt because it was: the perfect size to wrap my baby in great as a floor cover to lay her down to play warm and cuddly easy to roll up and stuff into a bag the perfect size to lay over her while she was in her car seat So I drew up a pattern, cut the fabric and made the quilt - recording every step along the way so I could share them with you. Because so many quilters were interested in an online class with video as well as interaction with me and other quilters, I decided to post all of the class materials in one place that offered hundreds of pages of fabulous quilting instruction. And now, all of the video instruction is ready for you right here in TheQuiltingCoach.com. This easy-to-follow online Baby Quilt Class includes 8 Lessons. In each Lesson, you will see a video showing you exactly what to do and how to do it. The videos are relatively short (between 9 and 20 minutes). And by the end of the video, you will know how to proceed with that step in making your quilt. Because all of the videos are available right now, you can go at your own pace. Watch them all now, or before you do with each step. With your special Online Baby Quilt Class registration, you will have access to all of the class materials for 14 days from the day you register. This is not an ongoing obligation on your part, and there will be no further payment charged to you after the 14 days - unless you decide to renew. Once you are registered for the class, just login and click on the Baby Quilt Class link in the side bar on the right side of the site, and you'll get to the home page for the class. Once there, you will see links for each Lesson and a brief description of the step included in that Lesson. Click on the one you need and watch the video. Watch the videos as many times as you want in order to fully understand the step. Each video can be stopped in the middle and backed up - or watch it straight through, whichever you prefer. Here's what you will find in each Lesson:

You will have access to most of the content inside www.TheQuiltingCoach.com - as if you were a member - for the 14 days of your class.
Resources in www.TheQuiltingCoach.com include: quilting terms defined, how-to articles for more in depth descriptions, and videos showing other how-to techniques.
In addition, there is a Discussion Forum set up exclusively for this online class, and if you have a question, post it at any time and you will get an answer within a short time.
Plus, for the initial class, I will be setting up times when I will be online in a chat type format where you can ask live questions. News about the schedule will be posted on the Member's Area home page.
"And What is My Investment in This Instruction?" you ask.
If you were to sign up for a "regular" quilting workshop, you'd likely pay about $40 for a one day - or maybe even only a 1/2 day of instruction. You'd show up for the class, get your materials, watch the teacher for a short time, then sew.
You'd finish your quilt - or not. You'd hear other quilters whine about their sewing machine not working, not having the "right" fabric for their quilt, having their thread break all of the time - you know the routine. And at the end of the day, you'd go home with your quilt in whatever state it is in, and no more resources except your friend who quilts, too.
Or, you could sign up for individual instruction and pay someone $75 or $100 per hour to show you how to make this quilt. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be paying someone to watch me sew, when all I need is a few minutes here and there at various points along the way.
I wanted to make this as easy as possible for you while getting the benefit of ongoing instruction for a time period long enough to complete the project (or give you a chance to watch all of the videos and get all of the class materials).
I'm sure you'll agree that the $39 class registration is a bargain. After all, you'll get access to the class materials, me personally (in the Discussion Forum and live online), plus all of the other resources in TheQuiltingCoach.com for 14 days.
By now, you are probably ready to get started - so just fill in the information below and login. You'll be glad you did. And all of the new babies in your life will love you, too.
Happy Quilting!
