Importing Fabric into EQ6
QuiltingCoach Penny
Printer-Friendly Format

If you are designing a quilt in EQ6, it's a great idea to use the actual fabric as you design.

It is easy to import your fabric into EQ6. This step-by-step video will show you how to import each fabric into EQ6 and then place the fabric into your block.

This assumes that you have already created your image files of each fabric and that they are in Bitmap (bmp) format.

EQ6 will automatically resize your images (I discovered after I made mine 100pxl by 100pxl), and by allowing the program to resize it, you will get a cleaner image as you design your quilt.

Once the fabrics are imported into your Fabric Sketchbook, they are ready to use. All you need do is highlight one and place it in the patch.

Happy Quilting!
