Beginning with your open EQ6 program, you will learn how to:

- set up your Worktable, choosing a block or quilt

- set up your Grid tool, so you can easily divide your block into patches

- use the Pencil tool to divide your patches into quarter square triangles

In Part 2, you will see how to color your block.
