The Purple Fabrics in the Medallion Quilt
There is one solid purple fabric and two purple print fabrics in the Medallion quilt.
As general values go, the solid fabric is a medium. However, relative to the purple prints, the solid might be considered a light.
The print fabrics both have black lines in them, forming the shapes in the print. One is a traditional plaid, although an uneven plaid (i.e., the lines running one direction are thicker than the lines running the perpendicular direction).
The other print has parallel lines which create a luminescence in the fabric.
All of the purple fabrics are paired with the white with purple flowers.
