The Green Fabrics in the Medallion Quilt

Printer-Friendly Format

There are two solid green fabrics and two print fabrics in the Medallion quilt.

One of the solid fabrics is light and the other is dark. The same holds true for the prints - one light and one dark.

The print fabrics both have purple and black lines in them, forming the shapes in the print.

The light fabric has shapes that look very much like large, plume-y feathers, while the dark green has shapes that look kind of like flowers and leaves.

Both the dark green print and the dark green solid fabrics are paired with the white and pink floral print. And the light green print that looks like feathers is paired with the white with tiny green stars.

The light green solid fabric is used only in what might be considered to be the second border, just inside the wide blue border.
