The Blue and Pink Fabrics in the Medallion Quilt

Printer-Friendly Format

The blue fabrics in this quilt are both batiks, while the pink is a traditional calico print.

The pink is a very dark pink with small with flowers that range in size between 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. They are placed fairly close together, and there are pin dots between the flowers. Occasionally there is a sprig of leaves.

Both of the blue fabrics are batiks. The one that has the more solid looking shapes is mostly blue with some black shapes, while the other blue fabric is mostly black, with blue showing through.

The blue fabrics are paired with the white fabric with the blue boxes and dots, while the pink is paired with the white fabric with the green stars.

The border is approximately 4 1/2 inches wide, and is the blue with the black shapes.
