Have you ever thought about starting your own business?

Maybe you dream of having a huge business. Or maybe it is a business that simply supports your fabric purchases.

Maybe it's not really the business you dream of, but the vacation, vacation home, quilting studio, or the extra cash you will have with a successful business doing something you love to do.

So, what is stopping you from starting your very own quilting business - or any other business for that matter?

Are you confused? Don't know where to start? Don't think you know enough about quilting, or business.

Or maybe you are surrounded by skeptics who think that this is a really bad time to start a business; or they tell you that living in a [small, large, urban, rural -fill in the blank] town and starting a business would certainly result in failure.

Oh I read the papers and listen to the news on TV. And I remember a while back when everyone was saying "the economy is booming - it's a bad time to start a business because everyone and their brother is starting a business. How will you succeed with all of that competition?

The thing is, there is always a reason not to start. Whether it's the economy, the competition, your savings account (or lack of one), the kids are too young, the kids are too old, the dog needs to be fed, the cat is purring, the bird just tipped over its water bowl - whatever it is, there is always a reason to wait.

Maybe you are facing retirement and know that your income isn't going to be as much as you would like it to be. Those dreams of fancy vacations, or maybe even cheap camping vacations, just don't seem to be on the horizon.

Or, possibly someone in your family was laid off, and you are looking for replacement income.

Maybe you just want to have some extra income to support your "Fabric Habit." That would come in handy.

Whatever it is for you, we can all use extra money, especially if we can make it doing something we love and not leave our house to get it. And now is a great time to move forward and start something.
