It's As Simple as Watching a Video on your TV or Computer...Even if you Never Thought of Making a Quilt Before Today
If you're like me, at times the only way something really "clicks" is when you actually see it done with your own eyes.
Think about one of the simplest tasks of all -- tying your shoes . . . Of course, tying your shoes is second nature to you now . . . BUT at first someone had to show you how to do it a few times. Maybe even more than a few times. They had to actually take the time to demonstrate exactly how to make the loop (or how to make two loops, like I do), how to cross them over, how to pull the knot tight, etc. Have you ever tried to explain how to tie your shoes to someone without actually showing them? It's downright impossible (and super frustrating for both of you!) Surprisingly enough, each and every step of making a quilt can be almost as easy as tying your shoe, if you have someone (who's been there and actually done it successfully) take you through the entire step-by-step process right in front of your eyes.
